This online course provides modules that cover some mandatory topics per South Dakota Administrative Rule 44:73:04:05 for nursing facilities and 44:70:04:04 for Assisted Living Centers. Topics are arranged in five areas: Resident Care, Infection Prevention, Resident Rights & Compliance, Safety First and Workplace Environment. You will review topics including HIPAA, Accident Prevention, Bloodborne Pathogens, Use of Restraints, Nutrition, Hydration, and QAPI among many others.
